What this network stands for

BOSON e.V. has been supporting career orientation programmes in the Braunschweig-Wolfsburg region since 2015. The aim is to provide pupils with structured insights into the world of work and to accompany them in their career orientation.

Career orientation is a joint task of schools, school authorities, employment agencies, chambers, associations and companies. Membership links SYNEDAT to this regional concern: young people should be able to better assess their abilities and make informed decisions for their future path.

Discover interests and skills

Practical experience helps connect job titles with everyday activities. A sequence of career guidance programmes can help young people explore their options and ask informed questions.

Connecting business and education

Companies can make it clear which tasks arise in everyday work and how teams work together. For IT, the spectrum ranges from software development to system operation to information security.

Strengthening the region in the long term

Recruiting young talent begins before an application. Good orientation supports young people and helps the regional economy to come into contact with future skilled workers.

Who is the career orientation aimed at?

The focus is on students who want to discover their interests, skills and career opportunities. The respective programs determine their target groups and conditions of participation.
