Managed Services

Clear responsibilities. More capacity for your team.

Reliable IT operations need more than individual tools. They need visible responsibilities, comprehensible processes and a scope of services that suits your company. We develop an operating model with you and take on agreed tasks for infrastructure, workplaces, cloud and security.

Monitoring & Event Processing

Together, we determine which systems and signals are monitored, which threshold values make sense and who reacts to an event. Alerting, prioritization and escalation are coordinated with the responsible teams. Recurring false alarms are incorporated into the improvement.

Your result

A defined path from the conspicuous signal to the responsible processing.

Patch & Maintenance Management

Updates are classified according to criticality, compatibility, and operational risk. Pilot groups, maintenance windows, releases, and fallback paths make changes more predictable. Unsupported versions and required exceptions are visibly documented.

Your result

Traceable maintenance with verified results and open remaining points.

Backup & Restore

We coordinate the scope of backup, storage and protection of the backups. Recovery tests check selected scenarios; restart goals are discussed with the departments. Responsibilities in the event of errors and the limits of the commissioned scope are recorded.

Your result

A verifiable recovery process with documented test results.

Cloud & Infrastructure Operations

We provide support with agreed operational tasks for cloud resources, servers, storage and networks. Configuration, capacity, cost development and technical dependencies are considered together. Changes are made along the lines of agreed approvals and access rights.

Your result

Transparency about the managed collection and a regulated handling of changes.

Service Desk & Workplace Operations

Requests, disruptions and standardized service requests are given clear input channels and priorities. We describe handovers between users, internal IT team and other service providers. Knowledge articles and recurring solutions help to reduce avoidable queries.

Your result

An understandable support channel with defined responsibilities and service times.

Security Operations & Service Reviews

Agreed security tasks can include vulnerability assessment, checking administrative rights or processing security-relevant events. Regular reviews combine key figures, open risks and improvement measures. Incident response and on-call duty are agreed separately if necessary.

Your result

A common look at risks, performance and the next improvements.

Application examples

Managed Services Use Cases

Typical initial situations – together we adapt the scope and procedure to your project.

A small IT team needs operational relief

Recurring maintenance, monitoring, and selected support tasks are bundled. The internal team retains architecture decisions and priorities; task handovers and escalations are explicitly described.

Cloud and on-premises infrastructure are growing together

Several environments are to be managed together. We record dependencies, standardize the most important operational processes and demarcate responsibilities from platform and software providers.

An existing service provider will be replaced

Documentation, receipts and ongoing processes are transferred in a controlled manner. A transition plan defines knowledge transfer, test operation and acceptance before the agreed tasks are transferred to regular service.

Collaboration

From the first question to the handover

  1. Recording operations and demand

Capture systems, contracts, service times, and existing processes. Prioritize critical applications and today's bottlenecks together.

  2. Define the scope of service

Describe performances, exceptions, interfaces, and escalations. Align metrics, response goals, and commercial frameworks.

  3. Apply in an orderly manner

Set up accesses, add documentation and test processes. Accept the transfer based on agreed criteria and assign open points.

  4. Measure and improve

Discuss performance and recurring problems. Consider changes in demand, risks or capacities in a regulated process.

Your result

You can continue working with it

  • A service catalogue with services, limits and responsibilities
  • Coordinated service hours, priorities and escalation channels
  • A documented handover and operation process
  • Regular evaluation with comprehensible improvement measures

SYNEDAT PLATFORM

Platform experience for your project

We use these selected tools in SYNEDAT PLATFORM or its delivery processes. We adapt suitable practices to your project and align their integration with your existing systems.

Deployment and platform automation

Kubernetes · Azure Kubernetes Service · Helm · Argo CD · Terraform

Versioned configuration and declarative deployment connect infrastructure and applications. GitOps makes proposed changes reviewable and the desired state explicit. Operational transitions and recovery procedures are still planned for the specific application.

Your benefit

Repeatable changes and clearer responsibility boundaries.

Identities, secrets and policies

Keycloak · OpenBao · External Secrets · Kyverno

Sign-in, technical secrets and platform policies serve different purposes. We connect them with roles, limited permissions and documented exceptions. The selected tools form part of a common access and operating model.

Your benefit

Controlled access and more consistent platform policies.

Observability and operations

Prometheus · Grafana · Alloy · Loki · Tempo

Metrics, logs and traces provide different views of applications and platforms. We organize data sources, dashboards and alert paths around specific operating questions. Retention, sensitive data and costs are considered when planning data collection.

Your benefit

Better incident diagnosis and informed operating decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you automatically offer a 24/7 service?

Service times, on-call duty and response targets are agreed for the respective order. This page describes possible building blocks and does not justify continuous monitoring or guaranteed availability. We clarify together what scope is necessary and feasible.

Can we only transfer individual tasks?

Yes. A delimited entry is possible, for example for monitoring, maintenance or backup. The decisive factors are an operable scope and clear interfaces to the tasks that remain with your team or other service providers.

How are costs and subsequent changes regulated?

Before the start, supported systems, scope of service and billing are described. Additional projects, licenses or changed requirements are checked and agreed separately. Service reviews help to adapt the scope to changing conditions.

Your next step

Which business tasks would you like to hand over?

Tell us your environment, the desired scope of services and the planned start. Together we clarify responsibilities, handover and the basis for a suitable offer.
