SYNEDAT® · Corelight
Corelight – Network detection and response
Network activity supplies context that individual alerts can miss. Corelight turns this traffic into evidence for detection and investigation. SYNEDAT plans sensor locations, data flows and integration with your existing security tools.

Which product family fits your needs?
Open NDR Platform
Connect network metadata, detections and packet data for linked investigations. We align data scope and forwarding with the questions your SOC needs to answer.
Corelight Sensors
Choose physical, virtual, software or cloud sensors for the infrastructure. Observable traffic, mirroring options, peak loads and data destinations determine the design.
Corelight Investigator
Analyze detections and network evidence within investigation workflows. SYNEDAT clarifies roles, retention and responsibilities shared between Investigator and existing analytics platforms.
License scope, availability, term and support are reviewed for your project and specified in the quote.
Where the solution adds value
Investigate internal attack paths
A suspicious endpoint starts an investigation. Suitable network visibility helps establish which systems communicated. We test whether agreed scenarios can be traced through the available evidence.
Connect hybrid environments to the SOC
Data centers and clouds provide different evidence. SYNEDAT plans collection and mapping, accounts for unobservable traffic paths and tests searchability, retention and data volume in the destination system.
What matters when choosing
- Data and visibility
- Which systems provide usable events? We check data sources, sensors, interfaces, volumes and retention before choosing the platform.
- Detection and prioritization
- Relevant attack scenarios and business risks shape use cases. We plan tests, alert quality and clear priorities for your team.
- Response authority
- Who may isolate systems or disable accounts? Response times, approvals, escalations and on-call coverage are defined for the agreed operating model.
From selection to deployment
Define requirements and objectives
We review systems, users, security requirements and budget. The result is a reasoned selection with a defined scope.
Validate suitability in a pilot
For an agreed pilot, we define tests, acceptance criteria and responsibilities. You receive a documented basis for the investment decision.
Plan rollout and operations
We plan migration, configuration, handover and support together. Scope and responsibilities are agreed before rollout.

Questions to help you decide
Does Corelight replace our SIEM?
Corelight can supply network evidence to existing analytics tools. The architecture defines which investigations run in Corelight and which in the SIEM, taking existing data sources and workflows into account.
What determines sensor sizing?
Sizing considers packet load, enabled analysis, storage needs and traffic peaks alongside bandwidth. A pilot tests the actual mirrored data, potential packet loss and operational and analytical effort.
How do SIEM, XDR and NDR differ?
SIEM collects and correlates security events. XDR connects detection and response across data domains. NDR analyzes network activity. The right combination depends on sources, coverage and your operations team.
Does buying the product automatically include a managed SOC?
It depends on the quote. Platform licenses, vendor MDR and SYNEDAT services are described separately. Sources, coverage, response authority and service hours must be expressly agreed.
Can I request a demo or pilot first?
Yes. Tell us your intended use case. We will discuss available evaluation options, prerequisites, effort and acceptance criteria. A pilot is agreed separately before it starts.
What does SYNEDAT need for a quote?
Useful details include product family, deployment location, current systems, user or device count and target date. We clarify open points together and distinguish the product, implementation and ongoing services in the quote.
Can SYNEDAT help with rollout and ongoing operations?
We agree the services you need, such as architecture, integration, migration, documentation or operational support. Vendor support, response times and ongoing assistance are explicitly defined in the agreed scope.
