Firewall, VPN & secure networking
Secure connections that fit the way you work.
Employees, sites and cloud applications need reliable access. We help you reduce unnecessary connections and clarify exceptions by designing firewall, VPN and suitable SASE architectures around your actual data flows. Clear rules, staged implementation and documented operating procedures support secure day-to-day use.

Your options
Services that move your project forward
Understanding communication needs
We identify relevant applications, user groups and connections. This establishes which traffic must be permitted, where technical boundaries belong and which existing exceptions need review.
Security rules can be justified with the actual need.
Structuring Firewall Policies
Existing rules are considered for responsibility, purpose, scope and possible overlaps. Changes receive comprehensible approvals and a suitable review.
A clearer set of rules makes it easier to make safe changes.
Secure remote access
Access for employees, administrators and service providers is differentiated according to task and protection requirements. Identity verification, device requirements and limited authorizations are planned together.
Support remote work through controlled access.
Connect locations and applications
VPN connections, routing and segmentation are coordinated with the systems involved. Redundancy, name resolution and error cases are part of the design.
Connections remain understandable and verifiable in IT operations.
Evaluate SASE and application access
We assess whether centrally delivered networking and security capabilities fit your sites and cloud applications. Integrations, user experience, data flows and provider dependencies are considered together.
You choose a model based on your requirements.
Organize changes and IT operations
Configurations, logging, alarm paths, and recovery procedures are given clear responsibilities. Necessary exceptions are documented with a purpose and later review.
Security functions remain operable even after the introduction.
Where to start
Firewall, VPN & secure networking Use cases
Three example situations show how we can help.
Remote access has grown over the years
Multiple access solutions and special rules make it difficult to keep track of things. We examine the needs and develop a consistent access model.
New cloud applications are changing data traffic
Classic site access no longer fits all applications. Together, we evaluate suitable connections and control points.
A firewall is to be renewed
We use the switch to check rules and dependencies. Migration, acceptance testing and fallback are prepared before the switchover date.
From requirements to results
A clear process with agreed milestones
Record access and risks
We document applications, user groups, existing rules and operational requirements.
Set the model and rules
Suitable variants, approvals, integrations and test criteria are coordinated.
Introduce in stages
A pilot checks typical accesses and error cases before other groups or locations are converted.
Hand over operating procedures
Rule documentation, change paths and responsibilities are handed over to your team or the agreed operating model.
Your benefit
What you receive
- A coordinated connection and access concept for the agreed scope.
- Documented rules, responsibilities, and justified exceptions.
- The commissioned configuration including functional and access tests.
- A handover package covering changes, troubleshooting and rollback.

When does a firewall renewal make sense?
Reasons can be the end of manufacturer support, lack of capacity, new requirements or a confusing set of rules. We evaluate technical and operational reasons together before a procurement is determined.
Does SASE always replace an existing firewall?
That depends on the architecture model you choose. Local, cross-site and cloud-based communication channels have different requirements. We check which functions are needed at which control point and how they interact.
Can existing identities and MFA be integrated?
Yes, as long as the products and interfaces used support it. Integration is checked for the specific systems, including roles, emergency accesses, and error behavior.
How do you deal with service provider access?
We define the purpose, affected systems, responsible owners and required permissions. Time-limited access, approval and logging can form part of the agreed design.
Does all data traffic have to go centrally through one location?
This is an architectural decision. Latency, control requirements, cloud usage and failure scenarios are all included in the assessment. A common rule model is also important for different connection paths.
Who approves new firewall rules?
An owner with suitable business and technical responsibility should approve each rule. We help define a clear process for requests, assessment, approval and periodic review.
Are traffic contents automatically decrypted?
Traffic decryption requires an explicit decision that considers business needs, technical feasibility and data protection. Scope, exceptions, device trust and operational consequences are agreed before implementation.
What influences licensing and operating costs?
The product model, user and site counts, throughput, security functions and service scope affect costs. The proposal sets out components and recurring services so that you can assess the actual cost structure.
Discuss your next step
Which connections should be made safer and easier?
Mention your starting point and the most important access channels. We suggest a suitable review or a defined pilot scope.
